Presentation Requirements
(3-year Calendar and Application)
PGY-1: Morbidity & Mortality or Patient Management Conference - review a case and provide a safe venue for residents to identify areas of improvement, promote professionalism, ethical integrity and transparency in assessing, and improving patient care.
PGY-2: Journal Club Conference - review a new study pertaining to critical care
PGY-3: Clinical Pathophysiology Conference - review the pathophysiology of a case they have encountered during his/her residency
Research Month
A month during PGY-3 designed to provide you with protected time under the mentorship of experienced clinicians to complete research posters, case reports, quality improvement and/or clinical research projects. Resources are provided to help assist with the development of project concept, protocol, data collection, and publication process.
Our team has a true commitment to research and scholarly activities; anticipating future resident’s participation and perspective, they are involved in a number of research projects currently underway. Residents will be encouraged to lead, publish and prepare for presentation at Regional and National Conferences.
