Center For Breast Health

Early Detection Saves Lives
That’s why we’re here.

Breast health is one of the main health priorities for women. When it comes to breast health and breast cancer detection and treatment, the most important factors you should consider are the facility’s quality, technology, and the experience of the staff and physicians. At the St. Francis Center for Breast Health, your concerns will be addressed with compassion and expertise in a respectful, calming, and professional manner.

St. Francis Center for Breast Health is the premier facility in our region dedicated to breast cancer screening, diagnostics, and surgical treatment. We are accredited by the American College of Radiology and have an array of diagnostic tools available, including 3D mammography, Breast Ultrasound,, and Breast MRI.

Our breast center is staffed by breast fellowship-trained breast radiologists. Our technologists are also specially trained in breast imaging and provide our physicians with outstanding support.

Patient Brandy Beeman:

A Survivor's Story

At age 38, Brandy was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer, a very aggressive form of the disease. She was preparing to give birth to her third son – in the third trimester of her pregnancy – when she noticed a knot in her breast. With the help of the team at the St. Francis Center for Breast Health, Brandy began a journey to full recovery.

Patient Ashley Williams:

Winning the Fight

Thirty-three year old Ashley Williams, a certified medical assistant at OBGYN Associates, caught her breast cancer at an early age and worked with our team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement a successful treatment plan.

With a family history of breast cancer, Williams did not hesitate to visit the St. Francis Center for Breast Health upon guidance from her trusted OB/GYN. Diagnosed in 2021, Williams has fought the cancer every step of the way:

“Please do your self-checks. If you find anything, anything that doesn’t feel right, please go and get it checked, it’s always better to be safe than sorry. So ladies, please, if you're over 40, do your mammograms.”

Patient Amy Ward:

Early Detection, Incredible Outcome

Breast cancer survivor Amy Ward vividly remembers that day in 2010 when she received the news. A phone call no woman wants to receive – confirmation of Stage 3 triple-negative breast cancer. With the guidance of trusted physicians at the St. Francis Center for Breast Health, Amy leaned on her husband and sons to begin the journey to wellness.

Patient Jennifer Flournoy:

Early Detection Saves Lives

As a busy mom in her 40s, Jennifer’s life is busy and full – raising kids, navigating college visits and running from one extracurricular event to another. In March 2025, she got news nobody wants to hear, a diagnosis of breast cancer. She was diagnosed with Infiltrating Lobular Carcinoma (ILC), a cancer can be difficult to detect. Working with the St. Francis Center for Breast Health and St. Francis Center for Surgical Care, Jennifer chose a treatment plan close to home and her family support system. She believes early detection is the best protection:

“I am deeply grateful for my care team at St. Francis for their vigilance, education and compassion. I thank God for them every day. They didn’t just find the cancer – they saved my life.”
