Team Member Recognition
St. Francis-Emory Healthcare strives to provide excellent patient care and services. We appreciate any compliments or positive feedback you may have about your care. Was there a compassionate team member that gave you a one of a kind patient experience? St. Francis has recognition programs to recognize these team members.
The DAISY Award
The DAISY (Diseases Attacking the Immune System) Award is an international recognition program that honors and celebrates the skillful, compassionate care nurses provide every day. The DAISY Foundation was established by the family of J. Patrick Barnes after he died from complications of the auto-immune disease ITP in 1999. During his hospitalization, they deeply appreciated the care and compassion shown to Patrick and his entire family.
The family created the DAISY Award to express gratitude to nurses and to enable other patients, families and staff to thank and honor their special nurses.
Ask your nurse for a DAISY Award nomination form or click on the button to the right. Share your story of why your nurse is so special, providing as much detail as possible.
