St. Francis-Emory Healthcare and the West Central Health District of the Georgia Department of Public Health are partnering to offer the COVID-19 vaccine on the St. Francis-Emory campus in September, 2021. Residents of Columbus and the surrounding areas can receive the vaccine from the comfort of their car thanks to the West Central Health District's mobile unit, which will be on-site and available during the following dates and times:

September 17
9 am – 2 pm

September 21
9 am – Noon

September 24
11 am – 8 pm

Important information concerning the scheduled vaccine dates:

  • Residents can choose from the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine during the September dates

​NOTE: First vaccination doses are also available on the dates in September. The second vaccination will be available through the Georgia Department of Public Health.

  • Those receiving the first vaccination of Moderna or Pfizer vaccines can schedule their second dose through the Georgia DPH website 
  • Residents can also visit the Columbus Health Department at 5601 Veterans Pkwy, Columbus, GA 31904
  • Please note, after the vaccine, residents will be asked to wait for a 15-minute observation period

Residents are asked to follow this location map showing where the mobile unit will be located on campus. No appointment is necessary.
