Hormone Replacement Therapy is topic of Lunch ‘n Learn program at St. Francis this Monday

November 2, 2017

Dr. Sylvester McRae, Obstetrician-Gynecologist, will discuss benefits of hormone replacement therapy at a free lunch ‘n learn lecture on Monday, November 6.  The program is from 12-1 pm in the Jack Tidwell Lecture Hall in the Butler Pavilion at 2300 Manchester Expressway. To make a reservation, call 706-320-8060.

Dr. McRae will focus on some of the newest treatments available, including on BioTE® therapy.

“Studies have shown that balanced hormones are necessary for good health and disease prevention for both women and men,” Dr. McRae said. “Unbalanced hormones happen naturally during the course of aging, but hormones can also slip out of balance due to chronic conditions or because of poor diet and minimal exercise.  BioTE® provides bio-identical hormone subcutaneous pellet therapy which helps to optimize hormone levels through tiny pellets placed just under the skin. These hormone pellets continuously release bio-identical hormones into the bloodstream.”

Potential benefits following hormone optimization include:

  • Regaining energy, muscle strength and greater ability to lose weight.
  • Increase in mental clarity.
  • Feeling younger and happier again.
  • Increased quality of life while preventing age-related illness.

This program is sponsored by St. Francis OBGYN Physician Partners with lunch provided by BioTE®.
