Matthew Kahrmann, MD, Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician at St. Francis – Emory Healthcare in Columbus, Georgia. He is a native of McRae, Georgia (Telfair County).
Dr. Kahrmann completed his undergraduate with The University of Georgia, Honors, Summa Cumme Laude, Biology. Dr. Kahrmann then graduated from Mercer University School of Medicine, Doctor of Medicine and completed his internship and residency with WellStar Kennestone Regional Medical Center, Obstetrics and Gynecology.
During his residency, Dr. Kahrmann was the Chief Resident from 2020-2021. Since 2021, Dr. Kahrmann has practiced in Columbus, Georgia.
Dr. Kahrmann has served in leadership positions with Mercer University School of Medicine OBGYN Interest Group Faculty Advisor.
Dr. Kahrmann is a chairman for myTEAM TRIUMPH - Georgia and a board member for myTEAM TRIUMPH – International.
He presented on “Ruptured Ectopic Pregnancy in the Vaginal Cuff a Decade After Vaginal Hysterectomy” Abstract & Oral Presentation at the 2020 Annual Meeting in Asheville, North Carolina South Atlantic Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (SAAOG) and “The Safe MOTHER Initiative” (Management of Obstetric Trauma, Hypertensive Emergencies, and Resuscitation) Quality Improvement, WellStar Regional Health System, Marietta, Georgia. He is robotically trained with DaVinci Minimally Invasive Robotic Surgery.
