November 15, 2021
St. Francis-Emory Healthcare, following its mission of Making Communities Healthier, is partnering with Columbus’ Victory Mission for monthly classes and events featuring topics ranging from nutrition, financial management, heart health, diabetes and exercise. This month’s class will focus on money management, scheduled for 5:15 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 18, at Victory Mission, 3448 North Lumpkin Road in Columbus.
St. Francis-Emory Healthcare CFO Jimmy Young, BBA, MBA, will be presenting on “Managing Your Money: Telling Your Money Where To Go” a hands-on approach to financial management. Young brings more than 30 years of financial experience to share with the Columbus community. After the event, attendees will also have the opportunity to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
Residents can RSVP by calling 706.596.4486.
“I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to share some solid financial advice that has served me well personally and professionally over the years,” Young said. “I have taught this class several times to several congregations in my home state of Mississippi, and I always learn as much from those attending as hopefully they do from me. We want to provide some common sense techniques that can help anyone manage their money more effectively.”
