The Heartbeat and Melody Goes On

St. Francis-Emory Healthcare Cardiothoracic Surgeon Jacob Davtyan, M.D., was recently featured on WRBL News 3 Chattahoochee Connections with host Bob Jeswald discussing his passion as a heart surgeon and the many lives he has touched over his career. One of his patients, local guitarist and songwriter Joe McClure, credits Dr. Davtyan’s skill in diagnosing a difficult heart problem and eventually providing life-saving heart surgery. McClure wrote his song “Code Blue” based on the experience and played the tune in his heart surgeon’s honor.
